Boedecker Cellars

Boedecker Cellars 2023 Pinot Noir

They Fell In Love with Each Other & Pinot Noir

Many years ago, while Stewart & Athena (of greek roots) were dating, they fell in love—not just with each other, but with the elegance and nuance of Pinot Noir. And when they married, they brought their two true loves together and founded Boedecker Cellars in 2003.

What began as a 400-case production in Oregon’s first shared-use winery in Carlton has grown into a 5,500-case, winemaker-owned operation. Today, they craft wines in a restored 1956 warehouse in the heart of Northwest Portland—just a stone’s throw from downtown and less than an hour from the vineyards they work closely with.

The philosophy has always been simple: to craft expressive, age-worthy Pinot Noir with purpose and integrity. To collaborate deeply with a select group of sustainably farmed vineyard sites, working hands-on throughout the growing season to ensure the fruit reflects the character and quality they believe in.

Now fully dedicated to winemaking, Stewart & Athena bring a thoughtful, low-intervention approach to every vintage. And when you visit their urban winery and tasting room, chances are you’ll find them - in the cellar, doing what they love.

2023 Pinot Noir

Discover the elegance of the 2023 Boedecker Cellars Willamette Valley Pinot Noir, a masterful expression of Oregon's renowned region.

Juicy and intense with flavors reminiscent of ripe raspberry compote and loose leaf tea. This vintage captivates with its vibrant aromatic notes of ripe red cherries, subtle hints of forest floor, and a touch of spice, delivering a well-balanced and silky finish.

The wine's complex aromas and rich flavor profile make it an excellent choice for pairing with grilled salmon or roasted duck.
