When people ask me why I started Cellar 503 I always tell them that I love Oregon and I love wine. I'm in this business because I think Oregon is a special place and I want to share the wine we make and the stories of the amazing people behind the wine.

It never ceases to amaze me how collaborative and supportive the Oregon wine community is. There are endless stories of winemakers banding together to help each other out in times of need and I hear them every time I meet with a new winemaker.

Inspired by this collaborative community and my love for Oregon, we are committed to giving back to the wine community throughout the state. Cellar 503 supports a variety of nonprofit organizations throughout our community, but we are especially committed to supporting the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Clinics. The mission of the Virginia Garcia Memorial Health Center is to provide high-quality, comprehensive, and culturally appropriate health care in Washington and Yamhill Counties with a special emphasis on migrant and seasonal farmworkers. Many of their patients are the men and women who work in the fields and pick the grapes that make our fabulous wines.

We are actively involved in planning and promoting the annual Grape Adventure event touring wineries throughout the region to raise funds for Virginia Garcia clinics. Our winery partners have been wonderful supporters of this organization and we look forward to more collaboration going forward!
