Ducleaux Winery Library Reserve 2019 Jordyn Rhone White Blend
A Legacy of Giving Back
This is the story of The Brady Bunch, a woman who was bringing up two very lovely girls, all of them had hair, the youngest one in curls. Here’s the story of a man named Chris, who was busy with three boys and a girl of his own, they were five people living all together, yet they were all alone. Till the one day when the cute lady winked on Match.com at this fellow. And they knew it was much more than a hunch, that this crazy crew would somehow form a family. Not quite as harmonious as the beloved Brady Bunch….yet a family full of love and fun.
Ducleaux Cellars is a small family winery (a "Garagiste") making prodigious wines from our estate Rocks District vineyard, Belle Roche and other select, professionally managed vineyards with distinctive terroir. Led by one of the Valley's few woman winemakers, our aim is to make outstanding artisan wines.
$2 for every bottle of this wine sold gets donated to Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in memory of Jordyn, Chris's daughter who was diagnosed with brain cancer at age three and passed when she was 5 yeas old.

Cellar 503 Tasting Notes
Ducleaux Winery, Milton-Freewater, Oregon
Library Reserve 2019 Jordyn Rhone White Blend
The hardest thing about supporting small wineries is that often the production size of wines produced is so small that by the time the wine has aged to perfection, the wine is sold out. It breaks our heart to think of the number of wines consumed before the peak of flavor development. So when we took stewardship of Cellar 503, we committed to buying more than we could afford on discovery of such a wine and to do the right thing - cellar them for our members.
We realize that in most cases, the challenges of having proper (or any) storage space, the time to manage a cellar and knowledge of when is the right time to open a bottle make it difficult if not impossible to give these wines what they need most....time. We identified that this was an opportunity for us to give back. By properly cellaring and continuously tasting these wines - we are able to pinpoint when they are tasting at their peak, giving back & honoring the families of individuals that poured their hearts and souls into making the most elusive & exclusive wine out there...a wine built to age. Only a small fraction, generally cited as 1% to 5%, of the world's wine is truly built for long-term aging, with most wines made for immediate consumption; the rest, are meant to be enjoyed within a couple years of the vintage to capture their fresh flavors, relying on acidity, tannins, and alcohol for structure.
We hope that you enjoy the first of our "Library Reserve" releases.
The Jordyn is a Rhône-inspired blend of Roussanne and Viognier – a delicious and easy sip with intense passionfruit and pineapple flavors.
Rich and complex with a full-bodied mouthfeel, this explosive white blend of two Rhone grape varieties is delicate enough to sip without food and rich and elegant enough to pair with a wide variety of summer dishes. Gorgeous floral aromatics lead the palate to notes of tropical and stone fruits. It pairs well with spicy foods, goat cheese, roasted nuts & best friends.
$2 for every bottle sold gets donated to Pediatric Brain Tumor Research at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in memory of Jordyn, Chris's daughter who was diagnosed with brain cancer at age three and passed when she was 5 yeas old.
