McMinnville
Established in 2005, the McMinnville AVA has a unique marine bedrock, called the Nestucca Formation which forces vine roots deep into the earth forcing vines to struggle and resulting in dark complex flavor profiles.
It is contained entirely within the Willamette Valley AVA. Its 750 acres are home to Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Riesling, and Pinot Blanc.
