Lower Long Tom

Established in 2021, the Lower Long Tom AVA is the 10th sub-AVA within the Willamette Valley, located at the south end between Corvallis and Eugene. The region is inside the rain shadow created by a higher elevation section of the coastal mountain range, producing an excellent climate for growing wine grapes. The nutrient-poor Bellpine soils force grape vines to struggle and produce intensely-flavored fruit.

Its 575 planted acres are home to two dozen vineyards producing Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Riesling.
