Anders and Akina have lived in Southern Oregon since 2012, they moved from the Applegate Valley to Ashland with their two kids, two dogs, and two cats in 2023.
Anders has a deep passion for all things fermented! A builder, farmer, indie winemaker, father, and fermentation wizard, Anders does it all with grit and focus. Akina is the designer, curator, and details sorceress; the oil for the machine.
Terrene Winery and Cidery has a brand new tasting room located in lovely Ashland, Oregon. Together they are proud to share their small winery and cidery Terrene with all of you!

2023 Steehead Run Vineyard Syrah
This is their first time entering wines to the Savor Wine Competition.
Blackberry, plum, vanilla & black pepper. Full-bodied with a long spice-laced finish.
Fermented with indigenous yeast and aged in neutral oak for 17 months.
They create wines and fine ciders that aim to feature each varietal’s unique characteristics and exceptional esters. With over 60 cider specific apples planted at their small farm in the Applegate Valley in addition to sourcing other fruit from local vineyards/ orchards with conscientious and sustainable growing practices. Their expertise is with sparkling wines, fine ciders and co-ferments inspired by European and ancestral methods.
